By accessing or using this website and its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), which constitute a legally binding agreement between InterviewOcean (“Merchant”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the user (“User”, “you”, or “your”). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
1. ABOUT INTERVIEWOCEAN
InterviewOcean is an online interview preparation and career guidance platform operated by an individual freelancer (sole proprietor). The Platform provides digital educational services such as mock interviews, assessments, mentoring sessions, webinars, and learning resources.
InterviewOcean does not provide job placement services or employment guarantees.
2. ELIGIBILITY
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable laws.
- All information provided by you is accurate and complete.
3. DEFINITIONS
- “Platform” refers to the InterviewOcean website and related digital services.
- “User” means any person accessing or purchasing services from the Platform.
- “Transaction” means any purchase of products or services made by the User.
- “Transaction Amount” means the amount paid by the User for a Transaction.
- “Payment Instrument” includes credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, wallets, or any other payment method supported by the payment gateway.
- “Services” include mock interviews, assessments, mentoring sessions, workshops, webinars, and digital learning content.
4. SERVICES & DELIVERY
- All services offered on InterviewOcean are digital in nature.
- Delivery may include live sessions, recorded content, reports, or one-to-one virtual interactions.
- Access details will be shared via email or through the Platform after successful payment.
- Users are responsible for ensuring they have the required internet access and compatible devices.
5. PAYMENTS
- All payments must be made through authorized payment gateways integrated on the Platform.
- By initiating a payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected Payment Instrument.
- InterviewOcean is not responsible for payment failures caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party service providers.
6. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
No refunds will be provided for:
- Services already delivered or partially delivered
- Missed sessions due to user unavailability
- Digital content already accessed
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time as per payment gateway policies.
7. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date personal and payment information
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
- Not misuse or attempt to disrupt the Platform or its services
8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Users must not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform content without permission
- Use the Platform for fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activities
- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Harass, abuse, or impersonate others
- Scrape or extract data without written consent
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on InterviewOcean, including text, videos, graphics, logos, and course materials, is the intellectual property of InterviewOcean unless stated otherwise.
Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution is strictly prohibited.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- InterviewOcean shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- InterviewOcean does not guarantee interview success, job offers, or career outcomes.
The User’s sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services is to discontinue use of the Platform.
11. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InterviewOcean from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your misuse of the Platform
- Violation of any applicable laws
12. REVIEWS & FEEDBACK
Users may submit reviews or feedback provided that:
- Reviews are truthful and based on firsthand experience
- No abusive, discriminatory, or misleading content is posted
- No competitor-driven or incentivized reviews are submitted
InterviewOcean reserves the right to remove or moderate reviews at its discretion.
13. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Bengaluru, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the decision shall be final and binding.
Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for interim or injunctive relief.
